Location
With only one row of houses in the village you're never far from the sea, just check the view from the front of the house at high tide ! Of course, who can come to Pennan without visiting that phone box which even today bristles with countless international calls in many languages as people come from all over to visit the location of Local Hero.
Pennan offers the visitor anything from bird and wildlife watching (including dolphins) to home wool spinning and natural dyeing. The local scenery itself offers wonderful opportunities for the
amateur artist. More details will be posted later at Local Crafts but unfortunately this page is not ready yet.
Situated as it is on the Moray Coast of Scotland, Pennan is well situated to allow the visitor access to many activities, especially the local Whisky Trail and Castle Trail. Closer to home there is much to appeal to almost any taste, for more details follow the link to local points of interest where you can find details on the local attractions in and around Pennan.
Be it activity, art, or just rest you're looking for in your holiday you'll be sure to find something to suit in and around
the village of Pennan.
